Forming Disciples Program

Meets September through May

In September 2017, St. Michael's Parish implemented a new faith formation curriculum.   The Diocese of Buffalo rolled out an update for religious education knows as "Forming Disciples." The new model combines our existing classroom model with additional family focused dates

----yes that means the ENTIRE Parish Family!

We have moved our middle and high school program to earlier in the day (right after 10:30 Sunday Mass) for families who have youth in both programs.  Some high school confirmation events will still occur at different times throughout the year.

Elementary (K-6) Forming Disciples Program

Meets 9:20 to 10:20 Sunday Mornings

~Youth assist with a family mass celebration during the religious education year. 

~First Reconciliation is typically celebrated in March/April.
~First Eucharist is typically celebrated in late April/early May.

High School (7 grades and up) Forming Disciples Program

Meets ~11:45 to 12:45 Sunday Mornings (right after 10:30 am Mass)

~Teens assist with a family mass celebration during the year.

~Teens will have a variety of service related events in which to participate.

~Confirmation study is a 2-year program beginning September for teens entering the 9th grade and up.
